The tot.il nmount raised to-day for tho iiw building for the V.M.C.A. wns £901 15s. This, together with tlif> £32-12 &s M collected on Monday and Tuesday, and the £1000 estimated t/o bo ralfod by tlio disposal of the present building, brings the- total now prnvidrd for up to £10.104 3s (3d. Th© sum of £689(3' is still required to mako tip tho amount desired , , and the officials are more than confident of doing this, having still nino days in which to collect it. The largest subscribers to-day were Messrs Archibald' Clark and iSons, and Messrs Macky, Logan, Caldwoll and Company, both of whom ga-vo £100.
