Th© Rangiora market yesterday was well attended. In th<? stock seleyards, the entry waa 1200 sheep, ISO cattle and 200 pigs. Prices were:—Fat wethere, 23e to 24s 3d; fat ewes, 16e 4d to 19s; mixed hoggets, 18e 9d • sound-mouth ewes in lemb, 19s 9d to 2is 2d; four to five-year-old ewes in lamb to 2lβ Id. Cattle— Tat steers, £9 10s to £11 2s 3d; fat heifere, to £6, ep; ingitre £7 10a; s ore cows, to £ 10s • vearlmgs, to 325. Pigs-Choppers, 4& to 80s, baconers, 52s to 445; forward storce 21s to 325; email pige, 9s to las od.
In Iho produce yards, heavy sheepskins made to 12s; light, 8s 6d • monno, to 7» 6d; calf-skins, 2s; wool crutchings, 6d per lb; hides, 4*d ; horse hair, Iβ 2d; fat, lfd. Poultry—Roosters, 4e 6d per pair; hene, 2s; pullete, 4e; ducks, 4e 6d. Chick-wheat, 4s per bushel; oats, 2s 6d; barley, 3e 6d; pigmeal, 8s per sack; potatoes, 3s to Gβ; carrots, 4a.
