A heavy poll is expected to-morrow, but the votesplitting, which will bo rife in a considerable number of electorates, mikes tho result difficult to forecast. Tho Labour party as usual ie well organised aoid confident. Several Independents consider that they have good chances. Some surprise* aire expected.
Great interest centres in tho local option poll, the campaign having been conducted with great vigour and earnestness The temperanco party's expectations are high for reductions of licenses, and tha party is hopeful of carrying no-license right out in a few electorates.
