OPERA HOUSE.
The Opera House was packed o>i Saturdny evening, when another complete change of programme wae made. The company was strengthened by tho addition of a number of popular artistes, the ehcif being Miss Ida Berridge. the accomplished comedienne, who fully suetnincd the golden opinions formed by tho Christchurch public on the occasion of her former visit. Tom Armstrong and Priscilla Verne staged an entirely new act, with groat eoiocoss, the "house being kept in a state of continual merriment during ita production. HammoD and Wyatt, two clever dancers, were seen to advantage in tlioir Spanish specialty, which they performed most gracefully. Mr Clarence Tisdale bade adieu to patrons of the Opera House, but he had to respond to numerous encores before the audience would allow him to depart. Harry Linden, who is an excellent eccentric dancer, received a great welcome on his reappearance, and the appreciative assemblage were not slow to recognise tho merit of his clever performance. Bob Bell, Pearl Livingstone, and the Rose eieters, all gave turns which added greatly to the sprightliness of tho programme. The bill will be repeated again this evening.
