Tho returns for the ninth week of the " New Zealand Poultry Journal's '' duck egg-laying competition are:— Luoy 32, Ruben 26, Kitching 23, Woodward 21, Knight 20, Penberthy 17. Douthwaite 10. Knight 15, Scott 11. .Spiers 14, Williams 13. The total for tl>e -week was 242. The three leading pens are:—Lucy 131. Scott 129 Knight 118. The total number of egg.s laid to date is 936.
