The Canterbury Hockey. Association wrote, cancelling tho introflnction of the new rule regarding the "throw-in," and adhering to the present rule, it being necessary, in tho interests of the game, not to adopt tho new ruling. A letter was received from Mr Adims, of tho Addington club, reflecting on the action of a rcferco in a receiit match. The question was fully discussed, and o renort -wae ordered to l>e eont to the Canterbury Hockey Association to d'sal with the matter at onoo. The Appointments Committee reported that several referees had failed to act when appointed , , and had not complied with the rules leiating to inability to referee. It was ctecidted to deal with this question at the next meeting.
