MR. F. E. BAUME.

Mr Baume is a native of Auckland, as a representative of which city ho holds a seat in tho House of Represen tatives. He received his early education at tho Auckland Grammar School, and the Dunedin High School, and afterwards attended tho Universities of Auckland and Otago.. Ho was admitted a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Dunedin in 1884, and took the degree of Bachelor of Lawa in 1890 in Auckland, where ho has practised his profession since 1887. Air Baume is a member of the Counoil of the Auckland Law Society, a,nd is one of the law examiners of the New Zealand University.
