To encourage .riders of Swifts, Eadie Stars, B.S.A. Stars, Bumbers, and Triumphs to enter for the Dunlop Road
Race, we offered by advertisement special prizes amounting to £20, open Only bo competitors riding these machines. While studying tho interest of the riders of the above cycles we have, by offering special prizes, debarred them from riding in the Dunlop race. This we regret. Tho Dunlop Company have advertised that they will not receive em trios from riders of Swifts, Eadio Stars, B.S.A. Stars, numbers, and Triumplis, therefore under the circumstances we are forced to withdraw our offer of special prisscs. Although our special prises in the abovo race have been stopped, we give notace to road racing cyclists that we will give cash prizes amounting to over £100 during the coming season for competition among riders using aaiy of the above cycles. Road racing cyclists axe irvited to inspect the model "Superb Swift" f.bted with easy-running bearings, guaranteed for fivo years. This is tho bast road racing machine made m England, and can befitted up to suit the special requirements of any rider. Inspection invited. Searchlight display to-night. This cannot be stepped.
