Mr Seddon was entertained at an official dinner last night. Thore was a most representative- nttendanco, which included Mr Deakin (the Federal Premier), Sir W. J. Lyne, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, tho President of tlie Legislative Council, the Lord Mayor, Mr McGowen (Leader of tho New South AVclee Oppo. sition), and Mr Jackson (of the Union Steam Ship Company).
