SUDDEN DEATH.

John Williams, a young unmarried man of about thirty years of age, who had been employed for some fourteen years as storeman by Messrs Edward Recce and Sons, died suddenly in the firm's Lichfield street store between half-past eight and nine o'clock on Thursday morning. Feeling ill he sat down on some goods, and a few moments afterwards fell back and expired. At the inquest hold by Mr H. W. Bishop, Dr. Talbot certified that death was due to syncope through over-exertion, and the jury "returned a verdict in accordance with tho medical evidence.
