MANDEVILLE AND RANGIORA.
Ifce monthly meeting of the Mamdeville and Raogiora Road Board was held on April 3rd. Present—Messrs F. Horrell (chairman), Leeoh, Daleiel, Steveneon, and Stalker.' It was decided to forward to Mr E. Parnham Una reply of tie Kampoi Council, declining to accede to the request re a culvert on Beach road. The Sefton-AsJiley Drainage Board forwarded Mr F. Withers'e report on plan for protecting the north bank of the Ashley, and asking the Manderille. Board to aesiet in making a claim to the Government for a grant. Meeera Barker and Edwards asked for removal of gatoe on a road at- Woodend,, as &* cattle graced there proved a danger to children. It was decided to look into the matter. Hm» Charitable Aid Board intimated the amount due by the district would be £116 Is 3d. Hβ ajin,nal ratepajtere , -meettne was fixed for May Ist, and it was decided thai all mrpiid rates should-be sued for. He receipts were reported to be £1110 17n lid, and the bank credit balance £111 6s Bd. The oatet«odinir rates were £39 9s 10d. Aeootmte in the amonni of £123 17s 7d were passed for payment.
