The inquest on the bodies ..of John Fletcher and Frederick Heavey,' recovered from the Kapanui to-day, disclosed that Fletcher was a Syrian hawker, _» real name being Hannah Tiatooch, nineteen years of age. Mr J.. T. Osborne has identified the other body as that of bis stepson, a. youth of seventeen., The coroner stated that a Marine Court would deal with the C-aymore-Kap-xiui collision on January 9th, when the question whether the deaths were the result of negligence or pure accident would be threshed out. The inquest was adjourned till January 24th.
