The averago price to-day for hindquarters of New Zealand beef is 31d, forecruarters The butter market is dull. The average price for choicest Xew Zealand butter (etored) to-day is 965, Danish llos, Australian (new) 108s. The cheese market is steady. The average price for finest New Zealand cheese ie 435. The hemp market is quiet, and prices are slightly weaker. . The cocksfoot need market is dull, buyers not being keen to do business at present. ' The average price to-day for bright, dean Sew Zealand cocksfoot eeed, weighing 171b, is 51a per cwt.
