The Council resumed at 7.30 . Progress was reported on the Wellington City Leasing Bill. WATER SUPPLY BILL. The Water .Supply Bill was committed and reported with unimportant amendments. LOCAL ELECTIONS BILL. The Local Elections Bill was further considered iri committee. Clause 51 (persons committing irregularities to bo named in Magistrate's report to Minister) was struck out, on the motion of the Attorney-General. Progress was reported on tho first schedule. The Council adjourned at 9.«0.
