OKU'S COUNTER ATTACK.
A FIERCE ONSLAUGHT. RUSSIAN APPREHENSIONS. LONDON, October 13. Many trains full of wounded have axrived at Mukden. General Oku early this morning attacked the Russians, who occupied the hills on the right and centre. The Russians withdrew three miles, and tho Japanese infantry advai'ced within 1600 yards of the Russian, lines. The Russians made throe fierco charges," but were repulsed, and almost annihilated. • Grave apprehension and excitement over Uie position prevails at St. Petersburg.
