THE KAISER.
The Kaiser ha» designed a memorial card to l>o sent to the relatives of those soldiers wlio have fallen in German SouthW«t Africa. It is decorated with a representation of SK George, bearing in his left hand a iaruel wreath resting on flags, drums, and the accoutrements aud helmet of a cuirassier, and ie inscribed "In memory °f •Hβ died for Emperor and Empire. Honour to his memory." In the bottom left-liand corner is a space for the photograph of the soldier, and underneath aro the words, "Sketched by his Majesty the Emperor and King, William II."
