THE LATE MR M'NAMARA.
The funeral of t the late Mr Edward Thomas M'Namara took place at the Linwood Cemetery yesterday. Ai 9 a.m. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the ProCalhodral by the Rev. Father O'Gonnell. The Father" addressed the congregation, ond referred to the many virtues of tho deceased, who would bo sadly nrifred by liis many friends. Bishop Grimes also *;poke at the conclusion of the Mass, and paid a high tribute to the late Mr M'Namarn. Deceased, ho said, had been a pood citizen and a good Catholic, nnd while his death would be <Jce|Tly lamented, it was consoling to think that his ln*t public act bad been the singing of God's fraiws in tlio church. Solemn Roqurem Mass was rung fay the choir, under tlio leadership of Mr H. Rossiter. The funeral took plaon in the afternoon, and was largely attended. The Orpheus Society, the Hibernian Society, £t. Mary's Choir, and tho Pro-Cathedral Choir, were well represented. The sorvic* was conducted by the Rev. Fatlior M'DonnM, assisted hv tho Rev. Father O'Connell.
