Our Timaf u correspondent writes: — There is a decidedly healthy tone about tlie wheat market herenow, and not only have late prices been maintained, but a farther advance of fully Id psr bushel has been noted. Tuscan and velvet are now commanding up to 3s 3d per bu&hel. Hunter's selling at 5s 24d, all f.o.b. But even at tbeee prices, grovren are disinclined to sell, those who havs hold all winter preferring to hold a little longer, in the confident bolief that etill higher vnlu-rs -will be touched. Fowl wheat is moving off readily at 2e 7d, and seconds nt 2s 4d to 2s 6d, according to quality. In oats there is comparatively little doing, though oatmeal has advanced 10s per toil during the week. Vulues today are:—Oartons Is Bd, Dune la 7<l to Is Bd. Danish 1« 6d to L» 6id, nil f.0.b., Backs sd. The potato market is practically dead, and 30u f.o.b. is the best price obtainable. Flour ie selling at £8, bran £3 ss, pollard £4 10s, and oatmeal £9 Ids to £9 15s, per ton. in each case.
GRAIN AXI) PRODUCE SHIPMENTS.
The-following lines of grain and produce were shipped from Lyttelton during the week ended Friday:—For United Kingdom: 4002 sfcs whiat, 261 «ks peas, 1064 sks seed. For Fiji: 160 eks flour, 15 ske oat?, 275 sfci potatoes. For Australia: 64 sks peas, 35 Aβ beans, 961 eke pota.toe*, 230 eks eeed. . Coastwise: 665 ske wheat, 951 sk», bags flour, 63Q *ks oats, 118 *ks meal, 380 tks malt, 163 ek« bran, 60 sks sharps, 150 ska pollard, 5744 ske chaff, 5 ske peas, 41 ske beans, 4317 sks potatoes, 57 gunniee onions, 52 eks seed and 66 bales liay.
