MR WATSON NEGOTIATING.

ATTITUDE OF THE OTHER PARTIES. (Received April 26th, 0.41 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 25. Tlie Eight Hour Celebration interfered with Mr Watson's task of forming a Ministry. He is busily negotiating with Mr Trenwith amongst others. It is unlikely that there will be any definite development*, so far as other parties are concerned, till after the Ministry is announced. Mr Deakin and Mr Reid both claim that their parties remain intact. Those who supported the Labour party in Thursday's division did so only temporarily. Meetings of both parties are to be held on Wednesday afternoon.
