» ■ (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.) INVERCARGILL, April 23. W. Tv Murray and Co.'s Underwood factory was destroyed by fire early this morning. The manufacturing plant will require reinstatement, but the stocks.stored in town will meet trade needs until operations are resumed. The insurance amounts to -12,600 in the New Zealand office. This was • re-insured as follows:—National, £1000; Standard, Sun, Victoria, Liverpool, London and Globe, and Commercial Union, each £750; South British, North British; North German, Imperial, Phoenix, North Queensland, Manchester, Yorkshire, eaoh £600; Australian Alliance, £400; Northern, £450; and"United, £250. Of the total'£362s is on the store and stock, which were saved. ;••
