THE NEW LABOUR MINISTRY.

The "Pall Mall Gazette," referring to the Federal crisis, says there is no knowing how the cares of office may broaden the minds and sober the views of the Labour leaders. _ The "Westminster Gazette" is glad that Mr Deakin's followers are willing to give the experiment of a Labour Ministry a fair trial. The "St. James's Gazette" considers that the Bill is drastic, and proposes to carry State interference to a point unthinkable in the Motherland. The responsibility is r.cw thrown on the right shoulders. The Labour Ministry draws the dividing line and clears the atmosphere. LONDON, April 23. The "Daily Graphic" says that Mr Watson is unlikely to succeed against two parties, including the strongest debaters, who are all experienced administrators. When the task of endeavouring to command a steady majority fails, Mr Deakin's opportunity may recur.
