. ♦ _ .111.. ' • (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.) WELLINGTON, April 22. Lord Ranfurly presented medallions and certificates to the members of the Welling-
ton Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association to-night. The Mayor of Wellington made a speech appreciative of Lord Eanfurly's services to the Association, and presented the Governor with an illuminated address on behalf of the Auckland, Wellington. Christchurch and Dunedin Centres, regretting his departure from tlie colony, and expressing thanks for the services to tl» Association rendered by Lord and Lady Rnnfurly. In reply. Lord Ranfurly stated that long prior to coming to New "Zealand he was associated with the St. John Association in England. He testified to the good work done by tho New Zealand branches, and spoke especially in appreciative torms of the work performed in tlie back-blocks by tho*? who had been instrumental in giving instruction in first aid, and putting their knowledge to use in bush accidents. The Governor decorated Messrs W. R. Fisher and H. 11. Seed with the insignia of the Order of St. Joint of Jerusalem, the honour recently conferred by the King.
