* (TMUS ASSOCIATIOH T_t_o__U.) BLENHEIM, November 24. Tlie Marlborough show opened yesterday. The number of entries shows a considerable increase." The sheep, the judging of which was completed to-day, were strong in Shropshire* and Romneys. Mr C. Coulter took both championships in merinos fine combing, and Mr F. N. Dillon in merino* strong combing. Other championship awards were as follow*: — English Leicester, ram, Mr P. Threlkeld; ewe, Hunt Bros, Lincoln, ram, Mr C. Wiithell; ewe, Mr P. Threlkeld, Romney Marsh, ram, Mr Wm. Bell; ewe, Hunt Bros. Shropshire, ram, Bell and Sons; ewe, Hun* Bros. Cattle show marked improvement.
