CASUALTIES.
An inquest touching the death of James Daly, of the Aahburton Village Settlement, near Fairton, who died rather suddenly on Sunday evening, was held yesterday. Evidence waa given that deceased, who -waa 65 year* of age, enjoyed the best of health up to the day preceding his death, but after lifting a calf, which he had bought at a sale, out of hi* gig on Saturday evening, he complained of severe pain* in his back and neck, which continued until the following evening, when he died. Dr. Boyd stated that death was due to the draining of the heart, and a verdict of death from natural causes, woe returned.
