THE SUPERANNUATION FUND. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, September 18. The Treasurer, moving the second reading of tho Public Service Superannuation Bill, said the fund was practically insolvent. The Bill provided the payment of pensions out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund. The sum required for the first seven years would be about £83,000 annually, and after that it would rapidly decrease until forty-five years hence it would entirely cease. The Bill passed through Committee.
