Tho boring scheme to which the I"ulJ0 companies subscribed liberally and to which the Government gave a substantial subsidy, is now well under way. The first bore is dov n two hundred feet in splendid country. A second boring machine will arrive in tho course of a few days. Great interest is fcfii'g taken in the operations.
