Lord Onslow has hitherto been UnderSecretary for I'm Colonial Department, and ;is such had charge of the Colonial Office during Mr Chamberlain's absence in South Africa, As President of the Board of Agriculture he now takes Cabinet rank, an honour which his foimer position did not carry. The post is worth £_CDO a year, as av.aiii.Nt £1500 (laid to the Under-Secretary for tho Colonies.
