NAPIER, May 11. The Supreme Court criminal * isession opened to-day, the Chief Justice presiding. The calendar is of the ordinary character, comprising cliarges against twelve prisoners, but none of a serious character. Elizabeth Young, committed for sentence for concealment of birth in connection with tiie recent harbour mystery, was admitted to probation for one week, the report ac to the girl's character being very favourable.
