THEATRE ROYAL.
The very successful season of the Musgrove Dramatic Company came to a close" on Saturday evening, when "Mice and Men" was played to a large audience. The piece went excellently throughout, Miss Stewart and Mr Harcourt Beatty receiving well deserved calls before the curtain. The company left for Auckland by the Northern steamer after the performance. It is satisfactory to learn that Mr Musgrove is so pleased with what he has seen during his visit as to the theatrical capabilities of New Zealand that he is arranging for the visit of two companies—one dramatic and one operatic—a year regularly. The company now playing in Adelaide, and of which Madame Flagoflski and Miss May Beatty are members, will inaugurate the new regime shortly with "Tho Fortune Teller" and other operas.
