METHVEN.
At Methven on Thursday there -was a yarding of 16,000 sheep, a" largo proportion of which changed hands. Two-tooth halfbred ewes sold from lla to 15s, fourtooth 14s to 15s, a line of 1200 four and eix-tooth ewes at 14a sd, a good line of eight-tooth halfbred ewes brought 15s, others from 6a 8d to 14e; lambs brought up to 12s 8d for good halfbred merino ewes, aged 3e 3d, merino wethers 3s Id.
