Linwood and Lancaster Park met at Hagley Park, when the former went in rlret, and made 70 (A. Forsyth 16 and O'Farrell 20). The Park replied with 112 for right wickete (0. Pavitt 47 and North, juu., 45 not out). T. H. North and Atkinson divided the wickets for tie Lancastriand, and O'Farrell and F. Tooroer trundled best for Linwood.

A match was commenced at Hagley Park between the United and Rivals, when the former batted first, and at the call of time h;id scored 295 (Hair 100 nob out, J. H. Smith 44, Deacon 41, Taylor 30, Jameson 13, B«-ket 12, and Talbot 18). Jack and Horc bowled beat for the Rival*.

The Midland and Sydenham teams also began a match at Hagley Park, wad when play ceased , the ecore« were:—Midland 284 (R. Barry 76, Tolan 64, Norman 57, Lawrence 22, Costelloe 12, and White 10); Sydenham 5 for no yrickets. Ogier and Jones bowled best for Sydenham.
