"One Initerestod."—-Th* Public Health • Act, 1900, asserts that at any time Avithin four months after the birth of a child, the child's parent or custodian, if conscientiously of opinion that vaccination would be prejudicial to the child's health, may apply to any Stipendiary Magistrate or Registrar for a certificate of exemption. If satisfied that such conscientious objection exists, the Magistrate or Registrar may issue a certificate of exemption, the effect of which shall be to exempt the parent or custodian from • all liability in respect to the non-vaccination of the child.
