The visitors totalled 218 in the first innings, of which Wilson made 90, Keenan 62, Poole 24, and Cameron 14. South Otago replied with 68 (Belsham 10, Fletcher 24, Sykcs 11). Following on South Otago only compiled 57 in the second attempt (Belsha'm 10, and Dr. Fitzgerald 19).
