Tenders for (shingling were accepted as follows:—Doyle's road, J. Grigg, at Is 9d per yard; St. Helen's road, J. Hait, at Is lld'per yard.. A list <if unpaid rates was considered, and it wa.i decided to summons all defaulters. The manager of the> Horwata water-races attended, and wu_ instructed to prepare a scheme to meet the water supply requirements of the Mead North Rakaia.
