SYDNEY, M_rc_ 17. At tho wool sales there was a good attendance and a strong market. Prices were at 2£ to 5 per cent, higher than _ month back. Greaey wool sold to lld, and scoured to Is 9d. Messrs Dalgeiy and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date March 16t_i: —"Tbe wool aalea continue firm and active, with brisk competition. Since our last telegram prices <_ merino wools in general are 1_ gher by 5 per cent.; price, of fine crossbred are fully maintained, whilst any change in prices of coanw crossbred ia in favour of buvera."
