MEETING OP AGENTS-GENERAL.

United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 17th, 11.52 pm.) LONDON, March 17. The Australian Agents-General met at Mr Copeland's o_k_ and agreed to request him to cable, asking Sir E. Barton, pending the appointment of a High -Commissioner for the Commonwealth, to appoint the Agents-General as officere to grant certificates of exemption under the Commonwealth's Immigration Restriction Act. It was resolved to defer the decision as to engaging a large city depot for a combined exhibition of produce until the High Commissioner is appointed. It was decided to instruct the colonial commercial agents to report upon the feasibility of opening fresh markets on the Continent for fruit and other produce.
