Captain Pope Hennessy's camel force and the Somali Mounted Rifles gallantly charged the enemy's zareba, in the face qf an array of speara and showers of poisoned arrows. They seized Lasakante Wells, 35 miles south-west of Bohotle. The enemy fled to the bush, leaving fifteen killed and many wounded. Sixteen were also captured.

Colonel (Manning's despatch riders have reached Bohotle.
