There was a moderate demand and prices showed on advance of 20.s par head oa last M-eek's. iVe«t bullocks sold from £12 to £13, exhu prime £14 IDs to £16, medium to good £9 to £10 17s 6d, light £7 2s 6d to £8 15-i, best cows and lieiftire £8 10s to £10 12s 6>l, medium to gqod £6 12s 6d to £7 155, light and cows £4 10s to £610s. Fat sditep—l222 panned, mostly shorn The sales opened on a, pir with last week's, but, the demand for ordinary quality was mnch less pronounced, and prices for these were lower by Is to Is 6d per head. B«>t .shorn crossbred wethers realiyed from 19s 6d to 225, extra heavy 25s to 275, mediuni to good 16s 6d to 19s", light 14s 6d to 16s, best shorn ewes 18s 6d to 20s, extra up U> 30s, medium to good 15s to 17s, light13s to 14s 9d. Lambs—7oo penned. There was a pood demand at a slight reduction. Best, brought from 12« 6d to "13s, extra prim? 14s ~9d, gw>d to best 11s 6d to 12s Ad, medium 8s to 10s 6d. ■ Pigs—l 32 penned. There -was a good demand, and la«t week's pric-cs were niahitained. Suckers realised 15s to 20s, slips 21s 6d to 245, stores 26s to 28s, pork-ere 31s to 445, baconers 50s to 735, choppers up to 975.
