MARCONI'S SUCCESS. United Press Association—By Eleotiio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 18th, 9.6 a.m.) LONDON, December 17. Mr Marconi has daily perfect communication by wireless telegraphy between Cape Breton and Cornwall, and expects soon to be able to communicate over a distance of twenty thousand miles. , . _ Mr Marconi arrived in Nova Scotia on November Ist on board the Italian cruiser Carlo Alberto. He admitted, in conversation, that he had been in constant communication -with Poldhu, in Cornwall, for a distance of about 500 miles on the outward journey. At this point he found that the instruments on board the Carlo Alberto were not sufficiently powerful to keep up the communications further, although isolated signals were received at much greater distances. The inventor declared that the success of his system was assured beyond any possibility of douibt.
