QUARANTINE DEPOT AT WELLINGTON.
(PBXBS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, August 14. A number of the troopers who arrived by the Orient were released, from quarantine to-day. The Defence Department is arranging to billet them in town for a few days. They go to their hames as soon as possible. All have been vaccinated with good results. —le smallpox patient is reported to be doing well, and is likely to recover. Twenty-nine cases of mea—es among the Orient's troopers and several cases of colds are still in the hospital at Somes' Island.
