There was a good attendance at the Leeston sale on Friday. The prices were: —Pigs: Stores 16s to 265, fats 47s to 52s 6d, choppers 60s. Cattle: Springers £5 10s to £5 17s 6d, others £5 10s to £5 ss, fat cows £7, yearlings £3 to 22s 6d, yearling heifers £2* 19s, steers (two years old) £4.
