A SAD FATALITY.

A distressing Ifatalitv occurred early last evening. A little girl named Lonra Craddock, three years old, «-nd a daughter of Mr F. J. Craddock, of Windsor Terrace. Richmond, was taken by her mother to ber aunt's house in Hereford street, where it was arranged the child should stay the night. Some time after Mrs Craddock had left, the child's aunt heard something fall in the eculleTy. On going in she found that a lajge roll of oilcloth had fallen from 'the perpendicular on to the chikl who was lying on her back on the sculierv fluor, bleeding from the mouth and ear-*. The child was ; _nmed_Aely carried to DrOvenden, but li?e w_ then extinct. Death is supposed to be due to a fracture of the skull. An inquest will be held.
