RECEPTION IN DURBAN.

Replying* to the Durban Corporation's address of welcome, Mr Seddon said that New Zealand desired peace on an everlasting basis. If more men were wanted, he said, more would be sent Mr Ejeddon had an enthusiastic reception. (Received May 19th, 10.47 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. Mr Seddon, addressing the Australian Association at Durban, emphasised the solidarity and unanimity of the Empire, and the gpod and noble woik it had done. He said the only possible conclusion of the war was the unconditional surrender of the Boer?, though as brave fighters they would be treated with Great Britain's traditicnal generosity.
