LONDON, March 21.
The Queen, replying to an appeal from the women of Munich to use her influence to stop the immoral, cruel, and shameful conduct oi the British troops in South Africa, wrote that the memorial was based on a complete misunderstanaing of facte. She regretted that the meeting of the Munich women had lent its ear to groundless slanders against a friendly nation. A Boer commando unsuccessfully tried to cross ths railway line southwards of Bloemfontein. DE WET AND DE LA BEY.(Rsceived March 23rd, 5.17 p.m.) LONDON, March 22. Boa.- advices state that De Wet and De la Rev are trying to join forces in the vicinity of Parys.
