THE SIXTH CONTINGENT.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, February 1. The Premier hae received a cable from Major Andrew that although a few men of the Sixth Contingent are reported dangerously ill of enteric, there is no cause for alarm, the health of the regiment has so far been remarkably good. There are 420 men of the regiment in the field. No improvement has taken place in the condition of Sergeant Moore.
