NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the committee of the Netf Zealand Swimming Association was held last evening. Mr Geo.. Harris was in tha chair, and Messrs Francis, Atack, and G. Smart were also present. Correspondence was read from the Auckland Centre and the Registrar of Unclassified Societies, Wellington, dealing with the matter of rules and final arrangements in connection with amalgamation proposals. The Chairman was instructed to write to Mr R. : Sinclair, Auckland, stating that v the Registrar had been informed of the removal of head* quarters from Auckland to Christchurch. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Registrar forwarding another copy of the rules, and requesting him to register the Association's offices at Christchurch, instead of Auckland. Various other matters were dealt with and the meeting adjourned. ' ■ ■ /
