SUDDEN DEATH IN NELSON ' '<■ ' CATHEDRAL. He was; removed to the veitriLv*] and a doctor seat for, but he died without speaking before the arrival of the medics} man, and the body was removed to his li&f residence. The members of the congregiffi tion were deeply affected, and were dtkZ-' missed without -service being held. i 7 Deceased,'who was nearly 80 yiars of &ge, • was a native of Ireland, and was formerly, school teacher in England. He was a prtj**' minent Mason and Orangeman and a Good, , Templar. He assisted Mr Joseph Majiiw start the,first Good Templar lodge in Enj& ] land, at Birmingham, fifty years enjoyed the distinction of being th* 6flif j Templar initiated in the British Ettpfaf. J The late Mr Scott was ateo secretary of%«j?! Brst Grand Templar Lodge, in England, aa&i: wae secretary of the Nelson Orange Lodge,'' ' He enjoyed good health to the last. was due to heart disease.
