THE OFFICERS' INSTRUCTIONS.
The following instructions are issued for information of offieera commanding units :n connection with the review at Haelev Park:— *

llassed Bands will play Royal Salute. Officers Commsmdijig Division will thsn order shouldfer arms (the "same signal as before). .
Brigadiers will give "order arms" and "stand at ease." H.R.H. wiH then inspsct the Cadets, the bands massing in rear of their own Brigades, and the bands of Canterbury Brigade will play a slow march, osasing when inspection of Cadets is complete. ■ ' . H.R.H. will, then ride along the front of ths troops, Brigadiers calling Brigades to attention, and: shouldering arms on his approach, massed bands of Brigades playing slow march when H.R.H. nsar3 the flank of Brigade, and ceasing when he reaches the reyersa flank. . . ■? .
Tho Band of Royal Nayy will commence playing when the Artillery are called to attention.
A Band of the Otago Brigade will play wlula H.R.H. inspects .the mounted, troops in rear. . •.-
H.R.H. will then move; past the right of the Division back to the Saluting Point, the Band of Wellington Battaiion having taken up a suitable position in front, and playing a slow march.
Officers and Colours being ordered to take poet, and all bands moving to a central position, 50 yards in, front of Saluting Point, where they" will be massed. The Division will then be ordered to march past in the following order:—Cadets in company column, field artillery in column of battalion at close interval, mounted troop 3in column of divisions, Royal Navy in column, remainder of "troops in company column, with fifty paces distance between Brigades, and thirty paces bstween battalions. Bands will play their own battalions-past. The Wellington Garrison Baud will play for the Adtillery, and a band of the Canterbury Brigade for the 'moiinfced 'troops.
When all'the troops have paesed, the bands will be retired and will mass in rear J of the' centre of tba division. When fcKeV rear of each battalion has passed 't\rerfty-five yards beyond the Saluting Point, the battalion will be closed toquarter column on the move, and on,reaching the second wheeling point will wheel to the left at the double. The division will resume its first position opposite the Saluting base, except the cadets who march back to camp. ■ The battalion will retire, and "resume its position in the lime of quarter columns. The Officer Commanding the division will then order attention, shoulder arms, advance in review order, quick march, the massed bands (playing fcba "British Grenadiers" once through. The command, halt, will be given a few seconds later, followed by Royal salute, present aims, signal as before, the centre brigade to take the executive command from the Officer fiommandmg division; bands, will-.play Royal Salute. , : The divisions will then be ordered to shoulder arms (executive commands as for salute). When the Royal party have left the park (bands playing appropriate air), the troops will be marched back to quarters by routes indicated to Officer Commanding the bri-" gades.
