THE ROYAL PROCESSION.
The procession will proceed from the railway station via Manchester, High and Colomoo streets, Cathedral square and Worcester street to Provincial Chambers, thence via Gloucester and Colombo streets to Victoria square. Here the various Friendly Societies will march past, the .procession thence proceeding via Victoria and Salisbury streets, Park terrace, and Carlton Mill road to Royal residence. The following is the order of the Royal procession:— Staff Officer. 10 Yard*. Canterbury Mounted Rifles. ' Elleemere Mounted Rifles. Malvern Mounted Rifles. Waimaikariri Mounted Rifles. 30 Yards. . The procession will bs> formed up at 11 a.m. The front portion of the procession or escort will take up a position in Manchester street, at sufficient distance up the street, to allow of the Royal carriage being in its proper place in front of railway station. The rear portion of the escort or procession will form up on South belt, to east of railway station, in such a position as to enable them to draw up into their positions in the procession as it advances. On arrival at Royal residence the procession will wheel to left and go via Helmore's Bridge to quarters. No troops will enter the grounds of Rqyal residence.
