OLD AGE PENSIONS IN FRANCE.

■In the Chamber of Deputies, M. Caillaux, Minister of Finance, explained the details of the old age pension scheme. It would, he said, reqoire a capital fond of twelve million francs. _.ne State would contribute at the outset fifteen million francs, gradually rising in sixteen years to ninety millions, and th*_i gradually falling to forty-five million francs.
